BC’s Adventure Engine a finalist for 2 Canadian National Tourism awards

Adventure Engine is a finalist for both the TIAC (Tourism Industry Association of Canada) Innovator of the Year Award and the Canadian E Tourism Awards.
Adventure Engine has developed cutting edge new technology that is easy and affordable for tour operators internationally. Their use of XML and advanced distribution to travel agents is part of the reason the company has been recognized in several prestigious awards in 2007.Adventure Engine also promotes environmental practices, offering carbon offset options to all operators guests via their partnership with Sustainable Travel International. Kelly Acheson and Amber Hayes, both of Rossland, BC started their company in 2004 and now host over 100 adventure and educational tour suppliers on their database, representing more than 2000 different trips and more than $200 billion worth of seat inventory.With travel as the worlds leading product sold online and experiential / adventure travel as one of the fastest growing travel sectors, this companies technology is on target to serve the world market.
